Following the hype around 8bit me I spotted a game on iTunes called Social media game Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP which seems to be gaining popularity.

Basically its a 8bit style quest game where you interact with a character in a pixellated world. The beauty of the idea though and one of its central ideas is that the story integrates with Twitter discussion which allow for a more "real time" submersion when you play the game. Its a side step from "in game" advertising which sometimes seems quite flat. Plus it also reminds me of the http://tweetlandgame.com/ where you can tweet to alter the game play e.g. "comet falls on road"

If you also into Minecraft (geek mode now) then this should be one you also enjoy!

This went around the office a while back but still well worth a mention.... Uniqlos app basically offers the visitor the chance to lower the price of the sale items by tweeting. Pretty cool idea for social shopping!
