A TV Experience concept by Syzygy

Nice concept by Syzygy about how you might use devices (tablet in this case) to interact with video media including integration with your room TV.

Look the part when he is watching the ice hocky game and can see the game playout in real time on the ipad...kinda reminds be of the F1 app you can get off iTunes though. All in all great use of the technology and I totally cant wait for this to hit the main stream!

YouTube's made-for-television viewing experience has fittingly found its way to Google TV. YouTube Leanback, which was announced over the summer, will be available on all Google TV products starting this week. The launch of Leanback, which automatically plays YouTube videos in full screen at the highest available quality, coincides with the imminent release of the Logitech Revue set-top box, one of the first products that integrates Google TV. When a Google TV viewer clicks on the YouTube icon, a video that is similar to clips in the person's YouTube viewing history will start playing immediately in full screen and, if available, in HD. People can also surf through content via a keyboard's arrow keys and can use a search function to look for specific content. YouTube's Leanback boasts 10 channels ranging from science and technology to entertainment, news, and how-to. Content across those channels is updated daily. People can also rent TV shows and movies through the service. YouTube didn't say whether Leanback would be coming to set-top boxes of rival platforms such as Apple TV. YouTube did not immediately respond to request for comment.

An iPad App that Stays in Sync with Your TV

Just following on from my Google TV post I cam eacross this article on Read Write Web

"The app was developed on top of Nielsen's Media-Sync technology and uses the iPad's microphone to sync up with the show by listening for audio cues embedded in the show. Thanks to this, the app will also work when you are watching a time-delayed version of the show on your DVR, for example. The app will also display a limit set of information when it isn't synced with the show. For the full experience, though, users will need to use the app in parallel with the show."

Reading this I can imagin shows like C4s Seven Days making use of it to interact with the audiencein real time maybe?
